Background
Tharushi is a student of computational linguistics with a strong interdisciplinary focus at the intersection of neuroscience and intellectual property law. She is particularly passionate about the legal and ethical dimensions of emerging neurotechnologies, especially neuroprostheses, and how they challenge existing frameworks in neurolaw and fundamental rights. She hopes to explore how law can keep pace with rapidly advancing neuroscience, while safeguarding human dignity and promoting responsible innovation. She believes interdisciplinary research is essential for navigating the complex relationship between brain technologies, law, and society.
